january girl is mourning the death of her friends. one, two, now three. she loves the smell of fall and the turning trees, but it shatters her, puddles her, then sucks her into electrons.

Empty Box

He tore open the package, it was an empty box. No meaning to him, just an empty box. I said, I'm sending you everything you never gave me before. Fill it up and send it back.

He sent me back an empty box. Big mistake, sent back an empty box.

Just so we are clear the "box" is being used euphemistically right . . . or am I thinking inside of it right now?
